Thanksgiving Treats

Now isn’t this an adorable idea for Thanksgiving especially if your having a party or even just dinner with the whole family. Anyone can make these from adults to kids and everyone will love them. Start by making your favorite cookie and frosting along with buying some candy corn for the feathers, M&M’s for eyes, and sprinkles just for fun. The beak, legs, and eye details are done with frosting. Now you have a few options, either decorate them yourself, with your kids, or set them out so that all the kids can decorate them during a party, on my dads side of the family I’m the oldest out of 6 so I have to keep an eye on the younger ones while the adults cook and I’ve found this is a great way to keep everyone (even myself) busy and out of the adults way.

Homemade Fall Deserts

 

This is a super cute idea for just about anything Fall food related, it’s easy too. The pumpkin is two chocolate bunt cakes placed on top of each other and held together by a layer of chocolate frosting. A white glaze is dripped over the top to give it a cool effect. The stem and leaf can be formed out of fondant or colored chocolate meant for molding shapes.

Teen Fall Fashion

Fall is a great time of year for fashion. Most people don’t realize that you can wear skirts during Fall, and yeah usually you can’t wear the typical Summer or Spring skirt, but if you take away the bright and vibrant patterns, but add a warm solid color with pleats and some sheer black or patterned tights, and you can totally make a skirt work in Fall. To keep you warm as the days start to get colder, wear a nice cozy sweater and matching beanie. For shoes, you can choose whichever you’re most comfortable in. If you like flats then go with a pair in the same color as your skirt, but if your like me and prefer some form of heel you can go with any that match, or something that’s really in style right now are combat boots. They go with almost anything casual and in my opinion, are super comfy! Jewelry isn’t necessary but if you want to you can choose almost anything, just nothing to fancy. Nail polish isn’t necessary either, unless your like me and cant leave the house without it. I recommend you choose a color that matches you skirt or a black. For your hair you can do practically anything from braids to pig tails, waves or curls, play around and see what works best with your hair.

If your not really a skirt type of girl you can still be in style during the Fall season. Like above a nice cozy sweater still looks great with a dark pair of skinny jeans. Again flats, heels, and combat boots work great, but so will sneakers. Bangle bracelets and hoop earrings go great with this look and so will and dark nail polish, dark lips and big hair will add the finishing touch.

Fun Fall Craft Ideas

This would be a great decoration idea for any room, and it would go great with the Fall bedroom. To do collect small, thin leaves from outside then dry and flatten them. Using decoupage place and hold the leaves where you’d like them on the outside of any glass jar until the decoupage is dry. Once you’ve finished you can place a candle inside the jar, or for another approach you can put any small items inside such as candies or even pencils.

Fall Bedroom Ideas

This is a great idea for any bedroom especially during the Fall season, and you can easily do it yourself. On the desk you can see a canvas of dripping crayons, this is called crayon art. To do this you should unwrap the crayons and glue them to the canvas and then apply heat to them with a hair dryer. The pictures/notes hanging above the desk exactly that, they are attached to a string by clothespins. The colors of this room are great for Fall because they offer a warm and cozy feeling. To make this even more seasonal you can add some scented candles that remind you of Fall.
